I posted question about cow\'s milk ( to drink for todler) on american webside about moms and kids.If you want to take a look, here are the answershttp://community.babycenter.com/post/a10256585/what_to_give_to_drink....cow_milk_or_formulaIt is interesting and was suprising for me. Now I feel like between two diferent worlds.They do things different here( USA) than in CR or Europe and look at you like a strange mom.Even doctors will tell you to give cow\'s milk to your toddler from 1year old.I am seriously confused and can not proof to Terry the czech way because it is in czech.

Sometimes I think we are the best mothers. I have got a niece in Egypt. She is now 2 years old. She hasn\'t got her own bed (sleeping in the parent\'s bed), a seat in the car she has not seen. They feed her the same food they eat, fat, heavy, spicy food. They gave it to her whem she was 8 months old. I think the only thing in their way I like is breastfeeding to the age of about 2.

@plaz Ifeel same in many ways.I feel pushed here to do things ( like feeding) in easier, less healthy way.I will try stay strong in my opinions.But sometimes it is hard to explain my opinions to my husband, when most of the doctors and moms in USA saying oposite.I am little angry about that.At least he understand - healthier way is allways better, but sometimes it sounds for him, like I am just making that up. Grrrrr.It is just different. They going back to work even after three months - stoping breastfeeding early beccause of that.Not all of them but a lot

@janney I don\'t understand, why they want a child, when they want to work after three months only. We want child because it\'s making us happy, we have totaly different view on the world. Child is changing our life, we should see them how they grow up, how they do new things every day, the first word, when they say MOM or DAD... Why I should have child and than go to work so early? It is just because I have age for it and because I should have a child? Iam not agree with this... Well Iam going to work, we are missing money and we need to eat something, but Iam not working every day, only week days and I can still see my daughter every day, without her, nothing has a sence...

@monarita The thing is, they are thinking the same about having child.It is just different way how to do it here. They don\'t feel like badmothers that often.They are more selfsure with everything they decide to do.Very strong in opinions - they parents act(ed) to them different than our \"scared, unselfsure\" parents from totality.But thanks to the fact - we did grew up in such a situation, we are more greatfull.I would say - the basic is - we know what it is to not have some things ( even bananas,coke,toys,etc). They can not imagine it.They think it is possible to have EVERYTHING they want together.In the end it means - they thinking: I can have child,job,great boy,time for myself - and they believe , that is the best way.BUT DON\'TGET ME WRONG.It is just MINE (teorie)..I am here only for 4 months and didn\'t meet that many moms - I may change my opinin about them i the futuresorry for my english

Really interesting the differents between countries. It would be fine to have here some foreign moms and compare ours and theirs habits.

@monarita It would, but I do\'t feel fine with their opinions in this subject. I asked, but I don\'t agree with answers.I think americans are somehow to...\"pohodlny\"..and that is why the became with some of these \"easier\" solutions.Not all of them ( sure)

@janney I\'ve been at the doctor with Jolka yesterday. Dr. said the same...I should use formula milk after 1year, not cow\'s milk. She said if I have money to buy that formula milk, it\'s very good, healthy and it has many vitamins, acidophillus etc. But I suggest I\'ll still buy just Sunar and sometimes formula for her to have something better It\'s true, that cows milk is not the best solution, it has many allergens, maybe goat milk would be fine, but get a goat milk is quite impossible in the city.

@monarita Good. And Sunar is not the same as a formula. It is suprise for me.What is Sunar than?Another option is soy milk - has not such a alergens as a cow\'s milk
