English recepy

Hi girls, I have a little problem. Does anyone of you know some recepy in English? It is my homework (yes, its a little stupid - I am nearly 22years old and study - how to say it - Higher specialist school, in Czech VOŠ) to write it, and I am sooooo lazy It could be anything - pancakes, some cake, any meal..I need ingrediences and how to make it, but only if someone of you HAS GOT it in PC, I dont want you to write it for me, because it is my work Thank you very much

Terry is making friends in SF

Such a good news for me.Terry found out that in Alameda ( town of our future home) is one guy living that he actually knows from a young age. Terry had very good friend at first university (Michigan state) and his best friend is this guy living in Alameda.So they know each other but didn'd see each other for 8 years. But what more.He got married with 30 years old women and they had baby just like 10 days after us. Terry is going for a breakfast with them every sunday and he is making better friendship with them.Last time they toke 2 more families with which are having 2 years old kids.It is good because it looks like we will have someone around to hang out and what more, they can watch Viola for us if we will want to go out for a dinner or a movie - just two of us. Sure we will do this for them as a payback :-)Terry is just so sad when he is having breakfast with tham, because he feels so lonely when he has to watch people who can have their families around.He said he would wish to have his girls with him and show to whole world how perfect family he has. Isn't he sweet?!?

Hi, I´m Petra. I´m pregnat. My day of birth is 15.11.2008. My boyfriend is hockeyist and for season of hockey we live this year in Holland. But I want to breed in Czech Republic. My english is no good for I breed in Holland and I feel safely. So I´m home alone and wait for birth.When will come day D, my boyfriend will come to us and if everything is good, we will leave in 10days after birth to Holland. It will be hard time but it will be better than I and baby will be home ourselves 6 months. Sorry for my mistakes. My english no good but I still learn. It´s good idea with this forum in english

My funny mistake

Here it is.I remember one of my mistake.It was around a lot of people on one party from my job there.I wanted say to one of my colege that he is very "vysoky" and I used the word HIGH. He started laugh,same as other people in the room.I felt so stupid.I corected myself and used the right word tall, but nobody hear it because they were laughing. For sure it was wrong gramm - (people are tall, mountains can be high)But what worse.When they say to someone he is high, they mean someone is "zhuleny" or anything else that has to do something with using drogs.I didn't know it. What a "trapas"

Hi, I just want to ask you how was your holiday. We had a great time with our 8-months-old baby. I was really surprised that we were able to do almost everything with him - even going to Prachovské skály was without any problems. So what about your experience?

Hi I have got a new student - one of my neighbours. She will come to talk in English but she won´t pay me anything - she will take my boys for a walk Maybe my next student will bring me some eggs instead of money Tell me - isn´t it better to teach at home than to teach at school???

I need to hear your opinion

Hi girls.So argument with my Terry - again.Not that big deal I just said few words how I am sad he didn't make time to say Good night to me in e-mail.I thought it takes him one minute and it would be a big help for me.I wasn't to nice about it, ( I said something that he maybe rather watch a movie tan spend some time on e-mail for me)but why I should be allways nice and say that he is perfect in every way when he is not?....I don't know what to tell him in e-mail.But I have to send you this part of his e-mail.I got angry, because it seems like he is saying I am not doing anything important and he is so busy.I can not believe that he can not see how hard job I am doing here Well, it can be just my subjectiv feeling, so I am asking you for help, for your opinion.Maybe it sounds that bad only for me and You won't see that.Maybe it's just the stupide english.Thank you so much.Here it is:You may be bored and sitting around the house all day waiting for something to do, but I'm the one who is gone most of the day and I get home about three or four hours before I go to sleep every night. What do you do with your children?

I mean these days - if it is hot. Of course, we can have a bath but what else. My children are tired of playing with the sand, they don´t also want to stay indoors. But they are bored and I am bored because we can´t find any activity for us (I am 29, sons are 4 and 2 )Has anybody got any idea?

Hi girls, it is very good to find, that is something like this... I can improve my English, because until the time, I'm at maternity holiday, I forget lots of words and also grammar... English and children

I would like to ask you if you teach or are planning to teach English your children? What concrete activities do you do with them? My doughter will be six moths, so I plan so far.I plan to play some games, may be to buy some English magazine for children. Some fairy tales can be found od the page which I have mentioned in the previous article. I have also came acrooss the offer of English course LIPPY and Messy. Book

Hi girls.Are you reading some real books in english? I don't have to much time,but I would like to try to read some novel.I have never been good in understanding "novel's" english, but now I feel I want to try again. My uncle's wife is working in library and he promised he will find some easy novel for me in english.I will let you know how it goes :)

Great idea!

This discusion in english is great idea! I know my english is horrible, I have to improve my knowledges. And this is big opportunity to use english. I think language practise is more useful than blind learning words.Before my child´s born I promised myself that every day I would learn english. My son is 6 month old, and I have never opened any english book.I´m sorry for my mistakes, I try not to use vocabulary.

At the theatre

The play was called The sister Angelika. The music was written by Pucinni. It was beautiful but the story is very very strong. I was crying from its first half...The story is about a nun (sister) who was in the convent because she gave birth to a n elligitimate son. After 7 years she has got the first visit of her relatives - her ount who tells her that her baby is death for two years...Music is very strong and sensitive but I wont be able to see it again.Last time I saw Manon Lescaut - it was written by Pucinni as well and I liked it too. My favourite composer is G. Verdi. And what about you? Do you like opera and who is your favourite composer?
