Do you remember your or somebody´s funny English mistake?

Where are you? Tak kde jsou všichni Ti angličtináři?

What do you do with your children?

I mean these days - if it is hot. Of course, we can have a bath but what else. My children are tired of playing with the sand, they don´t also want to stay indoors. But they are bored and I am bored because we can´t find any activity for us (I am 29, sons are 4 and 2 )Has anybody got any idea?

Book

Hi girls. Are you reading some real books in english? I don't have to much time, but I would like to try to read some novel.I have never been good in understanding "novel's" english, but now I feel I want to try again. My uncle's wife is working in library and he promised he will find some easy novel for me in english.I will let you know how it goes :)

Great idea!

This discusion in english is great idea! I know my english is horrible, I have to improve my knowledges. And this is big opportunity to use english. I think language practise is more useful than blind learning words. Before my child´s born I promised myself that every day I would learn english. My son is 6 month old, and I have never opened any english book.I´m sorry for my mistakes, I try not to use vocabulary.

At the theatre

The play was called The sister Angelika. The music was written by Pucinni. It was beautiful but the story is very very strong. I was crying from its first half...The story is about a nun (sister) who was in the convent because she gave birth to a n elligitimate son. After 7 years she has got the first visit of her relatives - her ount who tells her that her baby is death for two years...Music is very strong and sensitive but I wont be able to see it again.Last time I saw Manon Lescaut - it was written by Pucinni as well and I liked it too. My favourite composer is G. Verdi. And what about you? Do you like opera and who is your favourite composer?

What are you going to do at the weekend?

I´m going to my parents to Pilsen in the afternoon - with my sons of course. It seems the weather will be good, so we could swim a little in my parent´s swimming pool - it is as big as a slop... In the evening i´m going to the theatre. An opera is on.On Saturday we are going to the Plisen ZOO. I hope, boys will like it. My mother is going with us. (I hope I will alive that...)On Sunday we are going to neigbour village - there is a "magic forest" for children. It is very nice every year because you can meet there several fairy tale-characters.Hmmm - it will be quiet full weekend...And what about you?

Hello ladies :)it is great idea to talk in english language. It will be funny. bye bye :)

good idea

You know, sincerely I am visiting this Web-site Baby online a bit more than 1 year and at least I was boring here. I am missing the conversation with some mums which I knew them in the beginning. Maybe if I am again pregnant, I am more interesting to do some conversation, but I am not.But with this topic "Vzdelani aneb In English" I have got back my good mood to be here with you and looking forward to speak to you about any things again.

hi mums

Hi mums, I am happy that Jana figured out this discussion but also I am shy because my english is not enough good. Buy any way I can improve it here with you mums.

tak sem si vemu slovník

POROD

Just one interesting thing.I found out that americans don't have exact word for "POROD".It was so hard.We tried to find out something that we can use in conversation, when we talked about that day( when I was pregnant) It can not be delivery, because only DOCTOR will deliver your baby, not you.You can say "I will give birth" but that is realy long - don't you think?!:)Child birth was strange too. They also won't say birth day - because that means "narozeniny". So finally in the end we found as the best to use "labor" and we using that all the time now.Everyone understands what that means even when you can not find it in dictionary. Crazy!

Wow

Great idea. Now I can practise even over here.Terry will be suprised when I tell him. He is saying I have a big trouble with spelling and he is right. It is so many words, that I would use in a speaking conversation, but i am not able to write tham down without looking in dictionary. So please excuse my writen mistakes :)
